One Direct Connect Named as Finalist in the 2021 ACSA Aged Care Awards
One Direct Connect trading as Meals on Wheels Central Coast, is pleased to announce that they have been named as finalists in the 2021 ACSA Aged Care Awards.
A finalist for the NSW/ACT Awards in the Innovation in Service or Design – Organisation category, One Direct Connect nominated a program, project or initiative that showed originality to improve the lives of older Australians.
ODA Reinforces its Legal Expertise
One Direct Advisory (ODA) has bolstered its capacity to provide legal support and advice, with the addition of Amber Smyth to their advisory team.
Amber joins her colleague Raea Khan from respected firm PBL Law Group, who have partnered with ODA in a Joint Venture with the aim of providing legal expertise to small to medium businesses across the Central Coast.
As well as having vast experience as a legal volunteer in the community, Amber has also worked with community organisations in Australia, and overseas.
Amber holds a Bachelor of Business and Law and a Certificate in Practical Legal Training (PLT), and with her experience in property, commercial, business, and strata law, Amber’s knowledge and skill set reinforces the legal advisory arm of ODA.
One Direct Advisory Partners with ACSA
One Direct Advisory (ODA) is now affiliated as a Business Partner with Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA), the leading national peak body supporting not for profit providers of retirement living, community, home, and residential care in Australia.
This initiative is consistent with the ODA strategy to provide specialist services to the aged care sector and follows the recent appointment of Mr Ted Coupe, as an advisor, who has had over 35 years’ experience in the industry.
Aged Care Sector Specialist Joins One Direct Advisory
Since its establishment in 2018, One Direct Advisory (ODA) has assisted not for profit and for profit businesses with strategic and business advice in a range of areas. This has been made possible by the impressive team of advisors that work on a pro bono basis for ODA, based on the Central Coast.
The latest addition to their team of Advisors is Ted Coupe, bringing with him over 35 years’ experience from working at Executive level in values based health and aged care organisations.
